Clears Up All Those Rumours...
Samantha
Mumba has admitted to ShowBizIreland.com
she is in love now, and despite numerous tabloid reports
she has not bought houses in LA, London or Dublin.
Sam was speaking to us last week at her old primary
school in Drumcondra, where she was launching the
shut Sellafield campaign with Bono's wife Ali.
ShowBizIreland.com's reporters even ended up
doing bodyguard for Sam; holding back 300 under twelve
girls!
(Don't
worry Bono... we made sure Ali was safe too).
Also,
on reports that Sam had bought a penthouse in Stillorgan
and another in LA plus another in London where she
planned to move the 19 year old singer admitted, "I'm
reading about this myself everyday in the papers.
Now, it's getting funny. I have not bought anywhere
in LA. I do want to. But that won't be untill at least
Christmas. I would love to buy a place there. I have
still not even bought anywhere here. I am still living
at home with my Mammy and my little brother."
As
for her love life, "My love life is going great,
still the same and still with the same guy Mark.
I'm enjoying the break now at home with him. I'm also
enjoying being back in my mother's house and enjoying
her fry-ups in the morning. I have been back for a
week and am off to London soon. Then Norway and then
Sweden. It's back here then for a while then off to
America again. I am currently finishing my new album."
She
went on, "two weeks ago I was over in LA for
talks on some more film projects. I am meeting with
directors, producers and casting agents all the time."
Finally,
we had to ask Sam about those other tabloid reports
where it was stated she was backing Jackie Healy
Rae's Kerry campaign: "I was away and I heard
about that. What is all this Jackie Healy Rae stuff
about? I'm sure he is a nice man but I'm not backing
his campaign. I have never met him and have no plans
to do so. On top of that I may not be here when the
election is on so I have no one in mind to vote for,
never mind campaign with."
