Farrell gets female co-star...

Ireland's Colin Farrell has finally got his female co-star for his next film Minority Report. The British actress Samantha Morton has beaten a massive range of better known Hollywood actresses for the coveted female lead in the Steven Spielberg sci-fi drama.

Morton, who last week won the London Film Critics Circle award for her work in Sweet and Lowdown, will star alongside Tom Cruise aswell as Farrell in the movie.

She plays a woman who becomes involved with a detective, played by Cruise, who is being hunted for a murder he hasn't yet committed. The 24 year old actress has so far starred in a number of little known films such as Plain Jane, The Last Yellow and Jesus' son.
