Bono Rocks Jarhead Chic... It seems like Bono's dreaded mullet days are long behind him, safely locked away in the eighties. But since he's ditched the long flowing locks and opted for the traditional short-back-and-sides, his hair has got tighter and tighter. We know he's well in with George Bush but we think the US Marine Corp 'Jarhead' look is a step too far... Bono We don't know where dear auld Bono is going with his style lately. Okay, so the wrap-around shades have been there for a while and are probably here to stay. But he's evolving toward a Fidel Castro-esque vibe, minus the long bushy beard. Where is this going folks? Bono At a Bill Clinton Global Initiative politician thingy in New York this week, Sir Paul of the Hewson unveiled his latest and most extreme hairstyle to-date... Taking the military look to a whole new level. Yup. We're talking Jake Gyllenhaal in Jarhead people. Bono, Al Gore Perched precariously beside Al 'ManBearPig' Gore (conjoined twins, anyone?), Bono was attending a Clintoneese global interdependence meeting focusing on economic empowerment through health, security and racial, ethnic, religious, blah, blah, blah... Basically Bono and his mates are The New League Extraordinary Gentlemen. Well, at least they think they are... Gerry Adams And guess who else is in Bono & Bill's New League? Only Sinn Fein boss Gerry Adams! Wow, wonder if they can get Big Ian Paisley in as well to keep the whole affirmative action balance thing going on? Ah, we miss the Chuckle Brothers already. Nostalgic. Much. Bill Clinton It's getting a wee bit cliché BUT is anyone else bored with Bono campaigning to save the world? He should just take it as RED that we're all going to hell in a hand basket any time soon. And we'd like to hear the next U2 album BEFORE the apocalypse. Sorry folks - got all messagey there...
