Proper Models Spotted in Dublin Shocker... Holy mother of divine Jaaaysus what's going on in this country at all? The banks have gone to the wall, the arse has fallen out of house prices, the public sector is about to go on strike, and now our beloved photocall queens are moving back in with their Mammies as proper actual genuinely really real models mop-up all the available work. WHERE will it all end? Asheena Naidoo There we were in Brown Thomas last night at a lingerie show expecting everyone’s favourite photocall queens to come prancing-out in their bras, knickers, and stacked-to-the-max heels only to find that BTs had only gone and hired proper catwalkers for the gig. Seriously! We aint kidding. Amy Ronning, Jenny Curran Shocking folks, we know... Ner a sign of Louise Kavanagh, Georgia Salpa, Sara Kavanagh or even fricken Nadia Forde! And there we were all thinking that this lot had the exclusive franchise on underwear posing in public... Nuts. How will our poor aul tabloid reporters manage? Yomiko MORE controversial than that - the trim and toned leggy models on show were all sporting their own hair, nails, breasts, eyelashes, AND even skin tone! Car-azy folks, no tangoed former beauty queens anywhere to be seen. We blame the recession. And, erm, Brian Cowen. Jenny Curran, Angelica Top Irish based models Asheena Naidoo, Jenny Curran, Yomiko, Amy Ronning, and Angelica were there strutting-their-stuff in Brown Thomas to launch The Lingerie Show featuring a few saucy numbers from US designer Calvin Klein. Nice. Glenda Gilson Style icon Glenda Gilson was spotted at the show eying-up the Brigitte Bardot inspired underwear collection. Sadly, we don't get to see The Glenda in her knickers that much any more since she hung-up her modelling spurs and took-up with the Xpose crowd... We demand to see Glenda in her smalls! Someone start a petition. Siobhan O'Connor Rocking a plaid red trilby hat - we also spotted uber stylish 98fm presenter Siobhan O'Connor at Brown Thomas measuring-up the models... Yomiko The Brown Thomas Lingerie Show was showcasing the latest undergarment styles and trends for Autumn & Winter 2009. For the ladies... Of course. Amy Ronning
