Celebrity Hitch Hiker Toothfairy Award: Lisa Cannon...

It's only Monday morning and we have another Celebrity Hitch Hiker Award to hand out... Yet again it goes to a damn Xpose gal - this time its Lisa Cannon's second C.H.H. honour. She made cannon-fodder of Shayne Ward at the Toothfairy Ball at the weekend. See what we did there??

Thumbs-Up! That's right, yet another celeb got Hitch-Hiked by a member of the Irish media. Xpose's Lisa Cannon knocked over five Grannies, trampled a memorial flower-bed and kicked a blind-man's dog while barging her way into a fotee with singer Shayne Ward. But all that matters is she got her picture exclusive... Lisa is hardcore to the floor.

But she was soon misplaced by about seven ballerina / fairy themed little girls... Yep. Everyone in ShowBiz knows that little girls in costumes are the most feared entity in this industry; you just don’t mess with them. Even a veteran Xpose reporter stepped to the side when the Fairy girlies walked onto the white carpet. Back off Lisa.

The occasion was the Ali Hewson and Adi Roche fronted 'Toothfairy Ball 2008' and it all took place at The Mansion House. And if you're wondering why Bono's wife is carrying around an ironing-board, the large case in her hand is actually Bruce Springsteen's guitar which, was up for auction on the night.

All revenues raised at the Toothfairy Ball go to the Christina Noble Foundation, Chernobyl Children's Project and Ceka Kenyan Dental Project. All worthwhile causes.

The event inside The Mansion House was hosted by Irish comedian Deirdre O'Kane with a few tunes being knocked-out by velvet voiced Shayne Ward. French band, The Dov Amiel Orchestra, was also part of the entertainment. Fancy.

To date, the Toothfairy Foundation has raised over 2 Million Euros for its charitable causes. The committee consists of Caroline Downey, Ali Hewson, Dr David Harris, Dr John O'Grady, Toni Wall, and Dr Garry McMahon.
