Ohh Ahh Cantona Film Stahh... Manchester United soccer legend Eric Cantona leaves Roy Keane in the shade when it comes to loyalty from the Red Devil faithful. The poetic French footballer brought his movie 'Looking For Eric' to Dublin's Lighthouse Cinema last week... Eric Cantona To many, Kung Fu kicking footballer Eric Cantona was an artist whenever he put his toe to a ball. But we much preferred his poetic mutterings during post-match analysis when he'd regularly colour his comments with odes to seagulls and the such. Total feckin' ledge folks. Paul Laverty (writer), Steve Evets (lead actor), Eric Cantona, Ken Loach (director) Based on the Godlike esteem some of the Man U fans hold him in, Eric hooked up with film maker Ken Loach, writer Paul Laverty, and actor Steve Evets to make the 'Looking For Eric' movie. And the wee film is already picking up top awards on the Film Festival circuit... Glenda Gilson Eric 'Ohh Ahh' Cantona made his way Dublin last week for the Irish Premiere of this movie at the Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield. And predictably, hardcore Cantona fans lined the streets at the venue to get a glimpse of the revered ball player... Bertie Ahern, Maurice Ahern And they weren't the only ones - former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and Xpose presenter Glenda Gilson were first in the queue to get their picture taken with Mr. Cantona...
