The Model Set Return To Krystle...

January is a notoriously quiet month for bars and clubs in the City Centre with most people suffering from a Christmas overspend and festive party overload. Add the recession and the bad weather to that equation and most urban party-palaces were quiet last month. But roll on February and the models are back on the club scene. Praise Hosanna...

Rachel Wyse, Ruth O'Neill, Sara Kavanagh, Julie Kavanagh

Our young and glamorous model clique only ever travel around in groups folks – thus, they have become thee social barometer by which the government measure the level of confidence in the greater economy. Oh yes. Model footfall reports are sent to Brian Cowan & Brian Lenihan each and every morning. What? Think you can come up with a more scientific measuring-stick to judge consumer expenditure? Na-ah. We think not.

Sara Kavanagh

So it was with a great sigh of relief when we spotted model sisters Sara & Julie Kavanagh rolling-up to Krystle nightclub last Saturday night with other leggy stalwarts Ruth O'Neill and Rachel Wyse in tow. The girls ARE back in town.

Ruth O'Neill, Sara Kavanagh, Julie Kavanagh

With the desperately sad news that Eddie Irvine's Cocoon Bar is to shut-up-shop next Saturday night after 12 wonderful years (where are we gonna drink now?), a lot of City Centre night spots are feeling the pinch with the rapid downward slide of the economy and the brutally wet & windy weather which seems to be keeping clubbers in the suburbs...

Rachel Wyse, Ruth O'Neill, Sara Kavanagh, Julie Kavanagh

It’s time for Dublin’s clubbers to get back into fleets of taxis each weekend and get town hopping again. We know things are tight at the moment folks, but hey, there is no better way to blow away the blues than a night out clubbing with friends & surrounded by hot young models. It's what makes Ireland great.

Mindless social climbers & gold diggers, the majority.
Lets face it, these people are clones of each other, seeking 5 mins "too much" of fame! Celeb want'a'be's

Sorry but these girls could only be models in Ireland. They're one stop short of being tacky glamour girls.

On other news, Laura Toogood's joined Assets.
Funny!! After all the comments under B-scene's Christmas party saying ''she's in b-scene because they have real models''
Obviously no work though

Rachel was a model before turning to tv presenting. A model dosen't just mean a catwalk model. All over the world there are girls that do this kind of work. There is no doubt about it, Irish people are quick to judge and knock people that are doing well, whatever they are doing.
There is a demand for these girls in Ireland, like it or not. It shouldnt annoy you so much that you have to log on to say awful things about them. That shows how pathetic and insecure you must be. You should be concentrating on your own lives not their's!

Ruth O'Neil is in college......as is Julie Kavanagh. Rachel Wyse is a TV presenter with a degree, dont think she would be too happy to be called a model and I've seen Sarah Kavanagh on plenty of magazine covers and in editorials, not just promotions. You should all get your facts right before you criticise! bad journalism showbiz

cond.
I am sure they are nice, intelligent girls but truth be told, models they are not. Ireland has some great models that are working in the fashion industry& doing brilliant but none of these girls are ever pictured on this website

Melissa, Sarah, with all due respect to both of you, I have to disagree with you regarding your opinion of jealous Irish people. Irish people are extremely encouraging & proud of home grown talent. I feel that Irish people in general don't have much respect for the Irish Modelling scene. In fairness, I can see why. Models, promotion girls, whatever you want to call them, in this country are not exactly talented. .

You people are seriously pathetic coming on here to make bad comments.
Ireland has the most jealous people, you should be ashamed., Get a life

And they've been out throughout January too and they're not all in UCD . Stop being jealous!!!!!
