TVNow Celebrity Hitch Hiker Award: Eoin Murphy...

Finally. We get to give a Celebrity Hitch Hiker Award to someone OTHER than the girls from Xpose - our arch enemies. Only thing is, when tabloid journo Eoin Murphy CHH'd a certain celebo, it only turned out to be Xpose's Lorraine Keane! Damn those TV3 gals all the way to hell.

And before the innocent couple knew a thing, Murph grabbed our TVNow Celebrity Hitch Hiker 2008 Award in style. Eoin we applaud you, but we don't believe you about the Flatley thing...

Most celebrities leaving the Mansion House, after the boozy bash, seemed in high spirits and all were vying for the attention of our cameras. So we reckon we should give out a few more TVNow awards of our own... First off, the TVNow 'Maddest Chulchie' Award 2008 goes to Daithi O'Shea for sweeping Kathryn Thomas off her feet. She loved it.

The TVNow 'Please Look at Us, We're Only Bleedin' Mental' Award 2008 goes to Baz Ashmawy, Mark O'Neil and Michael Hayes from RTE's 'How Low Can You Go' show. We're calling this lot: Jackass-Lite or Mildly Soiled Sanchez.

Zoe Salmon, Kevin Sacre

The TVNow 'Orange as an Umpa Lumpa' Award 2008 goes to Zoe Salmon of Blue Peter fame. Although in fairness, we could have given this one to most of the ladies on the night and, err, Marcus Sweeney.

The TVNow 'Look at me Maw, I Won' Award 2008 goes to Ryan Tubridy for this exceptionally cheesy and proud moment. We think really skinny famous men are funny. Especially when they resemble the award they are carrying.

The TVNow 'I Changed into Leather Hotpants' Award 2008 goes to Glenda Gilson. Why? Coz she changed into leather hotpants. Duh?

And lastly but not leastly - The TVNow 'We Really Wish We Weren't Here' Award 2008 goes to Eastenders stars Rita Simmons and Robert Kazinsky who looked like they'd rather be somewhere else... We all wished that lads.
